The 2025 Fall Prevention Awareness Week Conference was a resounding success, hosted across four major universities in Washington, DC. Over four days, more than 750 participants—including 400 students, faculty members, and sponsors—gathered to explore innovative strategies for reducing fall risk and improving mobility for vulnerable populations.

Fall Prevention Conference Summary

As part of the event, Safe Patient Solutions proudly sponsored a ResQUp raffle, celebrating fall recovery innovation and community engagement. Congratulations to our four lucky winners:

Two women, one indoors in red, the other outdoors in orange, each hold white papers. Steps are in front of them, creating a proud mood.

Two women each hold a paper while seated indoors. One is in a wheelchair, the other on a chair. The rooms have warm lighting and cozy decor.

Each winner received a ResQUp device along with personalized instruction and a Quick Start Guide, thanks to Ms. Waugh and Jaki from Safe at Home. Their hands-on guidance ensured every recipient felt confident using the device to support their independence and mobility.

Why Fall Recovery Matters

Fall prevention is more than awareness—it’s about equipping individuals with tools and training that restore confidence and reduce injury. The ResQUp continues to be a vital solution for safe, independent recovery from the floor, especially for older adults and those with mobility challenges.

Safe Patient Solutions is proud to support these efforts and contribute to a future where fall recovery is accessible, empowering, and effective.
